Meet Dan Koerner

Dan Koerner is an ambitious creative producer whose world revolves around film, photography, and design. He studied at Syracuse University, where he received an MA in Television, Radio, and Film (TRF) and a BFA in Communications Design. He is currently employed at Boston University Athletics as an Assistant Director of Digital Media & Video Production.

With an unwavering passion for collaborative projects, Dan's mind balances the grand vision and the tiniest of details that make a project truly memorable. Having thick skin, Dan always welcomes feedback and critiques that encourage him to perfect his craft and create the best possible result.

Often referred to as a "Swiss army knife" on film sets, Dan loves all aspects of filmmaking, effortlessly switching roles from behind the camera to the heart of production. A gaffer one moment, a producer the next - his positivity and encouragement remain constant, even on those marathon shoot days. He knows the heartbeat of successful productions is the rhythm of collaboration and an optimistic attitude on set.

Beyond the screen and the set, Dan's a genuine people person. He loves finding commonalities amongst connections and bringing them together. He particularly enjoys being able to teach others what he has learned in an effort to make teams work together seamlessly. From rugby to lacrosse, drumming to capturing moments through his lens, his diverse interests and experiences fuel his creative storytelling.

Dan envisions himself leaving his mark on the film and media landscape. He is always ready to share, discuss, and exchange ideas with anyone interested in bringing their ideas to reality.
